### Trump-Linked Crypto Wallet Disappears After Cease and Desist Order
A website for a crypto wallet associated with President Donald Trump went offline Thursday following a cease and desist letter. The wallet, introduced by Trump's meme coin initiative led by his business partners, was taken down after receiving legal threats from his sons.
Earlier this week, the Trump meme coin project collaborated with prominent NFT marketplace Magic Eden to roll out a crypto wallet. This wallet allowed users to trade various cryptocurrencies across several blockchains and provided financial rewards in the form of TRUMP tokens for those who joined the waitlist. The initiative was spearheaded by Bill Zanker, a longtime business partner of President Trump.
However, Trump's sons were unaware of these developments and have been working on their own Trump-branded crypto wallet for several months through their Ethereum decentralized finance platform, World Liberty Financial. They swiftly denounced the project on social media, asserting that they had not approved the use of the Trump brand.
On Thursday, Bloomberg reported that World Liberty Financial sent a cease and desist letter to Fight, Fight, Fight, the LLC behind Trump’s meme coin operated by Zanker, and Magic Eden. Following the report, users noted that the website for the Trump Wallet had become inaccessible.
Decrypt attempted to access the site from multiple IP addresses around 5:45 pm ET but was unsuccessful. Although the Trump Wallet's presence on X, formerly known as Twitter, showed intermittent activity, it was not deactivated at that time.
It remains uncertain whether President Trump himself will engage in this dispute between his business partners, who are all attempting to capitalize on his likeness. Despite his Truth Social and X accounts promoting other products related to his meme coin over recent months, they have not mentioned the Trump Wallet, especially after his family members voiced their objections.
