On Sunday afternoon, Boulder, Colorado, witnessed a horrific attack at the Pearl Street Mall. The incident, described by authorities as a "targeted terror attack," left several victims injured. Boulder police confirmed that they have detained a suspect in connection with the violent episode.
According to FBI Director Kash Patel, the federal agency, along with local law enforcement, is actively investigating the situation. "Our agents and local law enforcement are on the scene already, and we will share updates as more information becomes available," Patel added.
The attack transpired shortly before 1:30 p.m. at the convergence of 13th Street and Pearl Street. At the time, a group was staging a peaceful pro-Israel demonstration. Eyewitness reports indicate that the assailant was armed and ignited people with fire, causing panic and chaos at the scene.

He emphasized the state's commitment to collaborating with both local and federal authorities to thoroughly investigate the incident. "Hate-filled acts of any kind are unacceptable," Polis remarked on his social media account.
As the investigation continues, police are urging the public to stay informed through official updates. The situation in Boulder remains under close scrutiny by both state and federal agencies.
