Suspect Charged in Fatal Shooting on Katy Freeway Service Road

Charges have been filed against Anthony Martin Landry, 57, in connection with the fatal shooting of Jeffrey Limmer, 46, on May 4. The incident occurred at a restaurant located at 8147 Katy Freeway service road around 6 p.m.

According to the Houston Police Department (HPD) Homicide Division Detectives H. Martinez and S. Chettrey, officers responded to a report of a shooting and found Limmer unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response by Houston Fire Department paramedics, Limmer was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Landry and Limmer engaged in a verbal disagreement, which unfortunately escalated into a tragic shooting. Following a thorough inquiry, law enforcement officials were able to identify Landry as the suspect in this case. Consequently, on May 8, Landry was charged with murder in the 209th State District Court.

It is important to note that Landry is currently at-large, and authorities are actively seeking any information regarding his whereabouts.
