In an email sent to season ticket holders, the organization clarified that the participation of these players does not reflect the official stance of the team.

During a recent event in Pittsburgh, quarterback Mason Rudolph, safety Miles Killebrew, and former running back Rocky Bleier were seen on stage with Trump. Bleier, a notable figure in the Steelers' Hall of Honor, wore a No. 47 jersey—a number famously associated with Mel Blount—and praised Trump as a "Hall of Fame president."

Acknowledging the mixed reactions from their fans, the Steelers emphasized that the players’ actions were personal decisions. "Our alumni and current players make their own individual decisions that reflect their views, and they do not necessarily represent the view of the entire Pittsburgh Steelers organization," the email read.

The Steelers organization thanked their supporters for sharing their opinions and reaffirmed the importance of their voices within the community. "We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. As valued fans, your voice is an essential part of what makes our Steelers community and fan base so strong," the statement concluded.

In terms of team developments, the Steelers are currently viewing Mason Rudolph as a potential starting quarterback while awaiting a decision from Aaron Rodgers regarding his future with the team.
