### Deebo Samuel Released from Hospital Following Pneumonia Treatment
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment for pneumonia. According to a team source, Samuel left the medical facility on Tuesday afternoon. The wide receiver initially checked into the hospital on Sunday night after medical staff found fluid in his lungs.
Coach Kyle Shanahan detailed the series of events, noting that Samuel began to feel ill late Saturday night and into early Sunday morning. The situation progressed throughout Sunday, leading to the discovery of lung fluid after a game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Shanahan explained, "Once we found out he had the fluid in his lungs and stuff after the game, then I believe they sent him over there."
Prior to the game, Samuel was reported to be feeling under the weather, but he was still expected to play. However, he managed to participate in only four snaps before leaving due to discomfort, including trouble with breathing, throat, and stomach issues.
It's currently unclear whether Samuel will be available for the upcoming Sunday night game against the Dallas Cowboys. Coach Shanahan mentioned that more information regarding Samuel's availability would likely be available on Wednesday, when the team is set to resume practice after a day off on Tuesday.
Additionally, the 49ers are facing a string of health challenges within their receiving corps. Brandon Aiyuk's season has been cut short by a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee. Jauan Jennings is dealing with a hip injury, and Chris Conley has a sprained ankle, further complicating the team's lineup as they prepare for future matches.
