### Vigil Calls for Justice in Richmond Assault Case
**Richmond, Va.** – Richmond Police are actively searching for three individuals potentially linked to a fatal assault Saturday morning in Scott's Addition. During an altercation after leaving a restaurant, 27-year-old Jacob Baldwin sustained injuries that led to his death this week.
At a vigil held Friday morning at the site of the incident, near Bingo Beer Co. at the intersection of North Sheppard and West Marshall Streets, detectives disclosed descriptions of the persons of interest. They anticipate releasing surveillance footage soon and urged these individuals to come forward. The police also appealed to local businesses and community members to provide any relevant information, including photos or videos.
Attendees at the vigil, which saw a significant turnout of supporters, informed authorities about additional cameras at nearby construction sites and businesses. Baldwin's parents made an emotional appeal to the public, hoping someone would share information that could clarify the circumstances of their son's death. "He is a very good person who didn't deserve what happened to him," Baldwin's mother stated, emphasizing their need for justice.
Family and friends created a memorial with flowers and signs, urging the community to speak up. One family friend implored, "Please don't stop talking about it. Have ears on the street because someone knows something and someone has a guilty conscience."
Baldwin had been in Richmond to attend a wedding and visited Scott's Addition for an after-party with friends. The investigation is ongoing.
