Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert's attendance at the New York Young Republicans annual event in December made headlines as reports suggested she had to be cut off by bartenders due to excessive drinking. However, witnesses at the event have denied these allegations, according to sources from The Post.

Boebert, known for her controversial political stance, reportedly had a memorable and boozy night at the event held at the prestigious Cipriani ballroom. Witnesses claimed that she even bothered former President Donald Trump for numerous selfies, to the point where his security had to intervene, as per CNN reports.

Multiple sources revealed that servers at the gala informed Boebert that they would not serve her any more alcohol. However, insiders later clarified to The Post that while she was not cut off from alcohol, she had managed to irritate President Trump during the event.

One witness recalled that Boebert positioned herself between Gavin Wax and President Trump in an attempt to capture the perfect selfie. After a few unsuccessful attempts, Trump apparently pushed her away, remarking, "That's enough."

Rep. Lauren Boebert declined to comment on the incident. New York Young Republican Club President Gavin Wax, in a statement, emphasized that the club organizes exceptional galas and expressed his hope that Boebert had a good time at their event.

The evening didn't end at Cipriani for Boebert. After the gala concluded, she continued to party into the early hours at the Beach Cafe on the Upper East Side. She was accompanied by her House colleague Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Florida) and disgraced former GOP Rep. George Santos.

This is not Boebert's first brush with public controversy. In September, she was asked to leave a production of "Beetlejuice" at Denver's Buell Theatre after engaging in excessive public displays of affection with her then-partner, Quinn Gallagher.

While the reports of Boebert's alleged drunkenness at the New York Republican gala have been refuted by witnesses, her eventful night in the Big Apple has once again thrust her into the spotlight. As a congresswoman known for her outspoken views, the incident adds to the list of controversies surrounding her political career.

As discussions and debates continue regarding Boebert's conduct, her actions at the gala and subsequent late-night soiree have undoubtedly left their mark on her reputation.
