In a bid to undermine Vice President Kamala Harris's reputation, the pro-Trump super PAC, Make America Great Again Inc. (MAGA Inc.), has announced an expansion of its ad spending. The group will allocate an additional $32 million for ad buys from now until Labor Day, bringing the total to $70 million. According to POLITICO, the spending will be concentrated in battleground states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona.

Shortly after President Joe Biden announced his decision to not seek re-election, MAGA Inc. wasted no time launching an attack ad against Harris. The ad blames her for various issues, including a "border invasion" and "runaway inflation," while also accusing her of concealing Biden's capabilities as a candidate from the public eye.

MAGA Inc.'s latest ad, titled "Chaotic Mess," will focus on Harris's handling of the border crisis and her past statements on immigration. Although the ad has not been released, it was described to POLITICO, and it is expected to highlight a 2022 interview in which Harris claimed that the "border is secure." The ad will also delve into Harris's record on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), featuring a 2018 letter she signed as a senator that called for decreased funding for the Trump administration's immigration enforcement operations. Additionally, it may touch upon her mixed stance on ICE, as she previously suggested starting over with the agency while acknowledging its necessity.

On another front, the super PAC plans to scrutinize Harris's tenure as a prosecutor in California. They have circulated a story from the New York Post about a program she ran that provided job training to an undocumented migrant who allegedly assaulted a woman.

MAGA Inc.'s new ad campaign comes at a time when former President Donald Trump has also intensified his attacks on Harris across a range of issues, such as her congressional record and her stance on abortion. However, the Trump campaign has not yet released any new ads specifically targeting Harris.

As the PAC continues to ramp up its efforts against the vice president, the Harris campaign has not yet responded to requests for comment.

Overall, the expanded ad campaign from MAGA Inc. seeks to paint an unfavorable picture of Kamala Harris based on her record as a prosecutor and her positions on immigration, as the battle for public opinion heats up heading into the next election cycle.
