Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is currently investigating a series of robberies that took place at three separate 7-Eleven convenience stores in southern LA County early Sunday morning. According to a spokesperson from the sheriff's department, the incidents occurred within a span of one hour.
The first robbery took place around 3 a.m. at a 7-Eleven store located in the 14300 block of Bellflower Boulevard, near the intersection with Rosecrans Avenue in Bellflower. Approximately thirty minutes later, another 7-Eleven, situated at 5827 Bellflower Boulevard in Lakewood, fell victim to the armed thieves. Remarkably, this second Lakewood store is less than three miles away from the initial Bellflower 7-Eleven, and both are located on the same street.
The third and final robbery occurred at approximately 3:50 a.m., at a 7-Eleven store located at 2611 Carson Street, near the intersection with Paramount Boulevard. This store is situated four miles away from the first Lakewood 7-Eleven targeted by the robbers.
During each robbery, the suspects, described as four men wearing all black clothing and face masks, managed to jump over the counters and steal cash registers from the stores. Authorities have not disclosed the exact amount of money stolen, and it remains unclear if the thieves also made off with any merchandise.
Following the robberies, the suspects swiftly fled the scenes in a black sedan, eluding capture. Law enforcement agencies have not yet confirmed if all three incidents are connected. Police are currently reviewing surveillance footage and gathering any available evidence to aid in their investigation.
Local residents and store employees are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. Authorities have not provided any additional information or leads regarding the possible whereabouts or identities of the suspects involved in the robberies.
Anyone with information regarding these incidents is strongly encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department immediately.
