### Penn State's Drew Allar Exits with Knee Injury, Status Uncertain for Ohio State Game

In Saturday's clash at Madison, Penn State emerged victorious against Wisconsin with a 28-13 win. However, the triumph was marred by an injury to their quarterback, Drew Allar. The QB grimaced in pain after being sacked during the final drive of the first half. Despite attempting to stay on the field for two more plays, Allar had to walk gingerly to the locker room before halftime, marking the end of his day. He was subsequently replaced by backup quarterback Beau Pribula.

As Allar returned from the tunnel after halftime, he was seen wearing a brace on his left knee, hinting at a potential knee injury. The extent of Allar's injury remains unclear, casting doubt on his availability for Penn State's critical match against No. 4 Ohio State next weekend. Coach James Franklin spoke on the issue, stating, "I just asked him to be very, very honest with me, and he just didn't feel like he was going to be able to move well enough to go. Even at the end of the half, you saw, even throwing was challenging."

Initially, Franklin believed Allar would be able to take the field in the second half. However, after some warmup throws, Allar informed Franklin that he was still unable to play. Visibly frustrated, Allar removed his knee brace and covered his head with a towel for the remainder of the game.

Franklin's main concern was whether Allar would be mobile enough to run the offense effectively. Unfortunately, that question was answered during the warmup throws, leaving Franklin to proceed without his starting quarterback. Allar had delivered a stellar performance, completing 14-of-18 pass attempts for 148 yards and a touchdown before his injury.

With Allar's status up in the air, Penn State might have to rely on Pribula, who showcased his abilities by completing 11-of-13 pass attempts for 98 yards and a touchdown against Wisconsin. Pribula emphasized the significance of the upcoming game, stating, "Everybody's already, I think, going to put this one behind us pretty fast, because we know the stakes of this game. We're going to prepare just like every other week, but I think the guys are going to be super locked in this week.... Experience like this is only going to help."

Penn State fans and players alike will be eagerly awaiting updates on Allar's condition, knowing his presence could be crucial in their high-stakes battle against Ohio State.
