The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) responded to the 4900 block of Manistee Drive, following multiple reports of gunfire and chaotic scenes of people fleeing.

Upon arrival, FWPD officers found one individual deceased and several others suffering from gunshot wounds. According to preliminary investigations and witness statements, the violence erupted during a high school party, leaving numerous attendees injured. While the identities of the victims have not been disclosed, police have confirmed that all other injuries are currently considered non-life-threatening.
