### Kamala Harris Holds Narrow Lead Over Donald Trump in Michigan Poll
A recent survey reveals a tight race in Michigan between presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, with just one week remaining before Election Day. Harris currently leads Trump by a slim margin of 3%, holding 46.7% of the vote compared to Trump's 43.7%. This represents a slight shift from early October, when Harris led by 2.6%.
The poll also indicates that third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has garnered 3.9% of the vote, impacting both major candidates. Kennedy is siphoning off 4.2% of the Republican vote, and 3.1% of those who typically lean Democrat, diluting their core support.
Voter turnout is set to play a crucial role in determining the election outcome. Among Harris supporters, 39.1% plan to vote by absentee ballot, 12.3% at an early voting site, and 46.5% in person on Election Day. Trump supporters have different voting plans: 21.1% prefer absentee ballots, 16.8% plan to vote early, and 58.3% intend to vote on Election Day.
Harris shows a significant lead among absentee voters, capturing 63.4% compared to Trump’s 52.5%. Trump, however, has seen a boost in early voting from his base, with an increase to 16.8% from 8.3% earlier this month.
Both Harris and Trump voters exhibit high levels of motivation, each scoring 9.7 out of 10 on their likelihood to vote. Kennedy voters have a slightly lower motivation score of 9.1, while undecided voters rank their likelihood at 7.1. Importantly, 97% of Harris and Trump supporters confirmed they are definitely voting.
For Trump voters, jobs and the economy emerge as the most critical issues, with 41.4% identifying them as their primary concerns. As election day draws closer, these factors could sway the outcome in Michigan’s tightly contested race.
