**Chase Briscoe Clinches Third Straight Pole at Michigan International Speedway**
Chase Briscoe continues to dominate the pole positions, securing his third consecutive pole this Saturday at Michigan International Speedway. He clinched the top starting spot with an impressive lap speed of 195.514 mph, marking the fastest pole in the Next Gen car era.
Briscoe's achievement is particularly notable, given that he had never before qualified in the top 20 at Michigan. This season, he has already won four poles, the highest number in the series so far. His streak of three consecutive poles matches a record previously set by Kyle Larson in April 2024, with Larson securing poles at Richmond, Martinsville, and Texas.
Despite his recent success, Briscoe expressed surprise at his latest performance. "I would say this is definitely the least confident I've been going into the last three weeks," he said. He acknowledged that starting late usually offers some advantage but added, "With us all running wide open, it's not as big an advantage. Truthfully, I knew the Toyotas were going to be really good. I knew the No. 19 car has been good, but I did not anticipate getting the pole."
Kyle Busch, who is currently fighting to maintain his final playoff spot, will be starting second with a lap speed of 195.371 mph. This marks his second front-row start of the season.
Denny Hamlin, who qualified third with a lap of 195.328 mph, remains on standby to return to North Carolina. His fiancée, Jordan Fish, is expecting the couple's third child imminently.
Starting fourth will be William Byron, who clocked in a lap speed of 195.238 mph. Kyle Larson, who had matched Briscoe's streak of three consecutive poles back in 2024, will start fifth with a lap speed of 195.180 mph.
As competition heats up, all eyes will be on these top performers to see how the race unfolds at Michigan International Speedway.
