In a tragic incident, a motorcyclist lost their life while attempting to avoid a fallen passenger on I-10 near Menge Avenue. The victim, identified as 43-year-old Amanda Holden, was part of a group of four motorcyclists traveling eastbound on Sunday.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, as the group was riding, one of the passengers fell off their bike. In a split-second decision, Holden made a brave attempt to steer clear of the fallen passenger but unfortunately crashed in the process.

The impact of the crash resulted in fatal injuries for Holden, who succumbed to her wounds at the scene. The other two motorcyclists also attempted evasive maneuvers and ended up crashing as well.
