In a recent episode of her podcast "Citizen McCain," political commentator Meghan McCain opened up about a negative experience she had with Jennifer Lopez during the singer's appearance on "The View." McCain, who co-hosted the show from 2017 to 2021, described Lopez as a "deeply unpleasant person" and criticized her diva-like behavior.
During the podcast episode, McCain shared her disappointment with Lopez's large entourage, which she claimed was bigger than those of Kim Kardashian and even the President. McCain questioned the necessity of such a vast entourage and expressed confusion over Lopez's actions.
Furthermore, McCain and her co-host, Miranda Wilkins, alleged that Lopez had retaliated against them after they shared a TikTok clip in which they talked negatively about her back in April. According to McCain, the clip was taken down by Lopez, a move that only fueled further animosity between the two parties.
In the April video, McCain mentioned that she witnessed a person whose sole responsibility was to hold up a mirror with lights while Lopez was being touched up backstage. McCain expressed her concerns about Lopez's behavior, emphasizing that while one doesn't always have to be nice, it was surprising that someone like Kim Kardashian could be more pleasant in similar situations.
Meghan McCain didn't hold back in her criticism of Lopez, suggesting that during a brief appearance on a show, one should at least "fake it till you make it" for ten minutes. Her comments shed light on her disappointment with Lopez's allegedly unfriendly demeanor during the show.
The New York Post reached out to Lopez's representative for comment on the matter. Meanwhile, Lopez has been making headlines recently due to rumors of trouble in her relationship with husband Ben Affleck. Reports have emerged claiming that the couple, who tied the knot in 2022, may be heading towards divorce.
Lopez refused to address the split rumors during a press conference in May, but she later announced the cancellation of her upcoming tour, revealing her intention to spend more time with her family. Adding fuel to the fire, their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion was recently listed on Zillow, further fueling speculation of an imminent divorce announcement.
As for McCain and Lopez's ongoing feud, it remains to be seen if the two will find a resolution or continue to clash in the public eye.
