### Authorities Reopen Icicle River Road Amid Search for Murder Suspect
Icicle River Road and nearby recreational areas in Chelan County, Washington have been reopened by authorities as the search for Travis Decker, a former Army Ranger wanted in connection with the murder of his three daughters, continues. The bodies of the children were discovered earlier this month west of Leavenworth.
The Chelan County Sheriff's Office announced the reopening of the road in a statement on Saturday evening, assuring the public that there is no credible threat in the area. "We will be removing the roadblocks and opening the Icicle River Road," the statement read, also noting that the U.S. Forest Service has been notified to reopen affected recreation zones.
Despite the reopening, specifics about which areas are considered safe have not been clarified, and questions about the search's next focus remain unanswered. As of 8 p.m., the sheriff's office did not respond to requests for further explanation.
The manhunt for Decker involves roughly 100 officers from various local, state, and federal agencies. Investigators have spent several days searching structures, river sections, and forested areas near Decker's last known location. They continue to pursue leads generated through public tips and search warrants.
Officials urge the public to stay vigilant. Residents are asked to review any security or doorbell camera footage for potential sightings, and those in recreational areas should report anything suspicious, noting the time and GPS location if possible.
On Friday evening, Governor Bob Ferguson authorized the use of Washington National Guard resources, including helicopter transport for law enforcement personnel, describing the support as "invaluable" due to the urgency and complexity of the search.
Additionally, the Canada Border Services Agency is working with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to find Decker and protect communities on both sides of the border.
The Chelan County Sheriff's Office continues to encourage anyone with information on Decker's whereabouts to come forward.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
