Jonathan Joss, well-known for his voice role on the animated series "King of the Hill," was tragically shot to death by a neighbor in San Antonio, according to local authorities. The incident occurred on Sunday night amidst an unresolved dispute.
The 59-year-old actor, who was recognized for voicing the character John Redcorn on "King of the Hill," also had roles in popular shows such as "Parks and Recreation," "Ray Donovan," and "Tulsa King." Investigators identified the shooter as Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez, 56. Following the conflict, Alvarez was swiftly arrested and charged with murder by the San Antonio Police Department.

Joss, of Apache and Comanche heritage, frequently portrayed Native American characters throughout his nearly thirty-year acting career. In "King of the Hill," he depicted John Redcorn, a Native American healer, involved in a significant subplot that spanned 34 episodes from 1997 to 2009. He also appeared in five episodes of the NBC sitcom "Parks and Recreation" as Chief Ken Hotate between 2011 and 2015.
In addition to these roles, Joss had minor parts in "True Grit," "Walker, Texas Ranger," and "Friday Night Lights." Earlier this year, he faced personal hardships, losing his longtime home and a pet dog in a fire, as reported by KSAT. At the time of his passing, he was reportedly unemployed after having endured significant vandalism that caused his home to lose electricity and gas.
