### Explosive Devices Target Ballot Boxes in Portland and Vancouver; Suspect Description Released

New information is surfacing regarding the explosive devices found in ballot drop boxes in Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, earlier this week. Police have identified a suspect they believe to be responsible for the incidents.

During a Wednesday news conference, Portland police provided a description of the individual they suspect in connection with the attacks. Agency spokesperson Mike Benner detailed that the suspect is a white male, aged between 30 and 40, and is believed to have significant experience in metal fabrication. "We think it's very possible this individual may continue targeted attacks across the area," Benner stated.

The incident involved a ballot drop box at the Fishers Landing Transit Center in Vancouver that was set on fire early Monday morning. This destructive act destroyed hundreds of ballots, raising concerns about voter safety and election security.

Authorities also believe the same individual may be linked to a similar attack on October 8 in Vancouver, where an incendiary device failed to detonate. This connection strengthens the suspicion that this is a coordinated effort by the same person.

Law enforcement agencies continue to investigate these troubling events, and updates will be provided as more details emerge.
