**Arrest Made in Connection to Missing Texas Mom as Search Intensifies**

Police continue their investigation into the mysterious disappearance of Suzanne Simpson, a mother of four from Olmos Park, Texas, made more pressing with a recent arrest. It's been over two weeks since Suzanne was reported missing, and authorities are now looking deeper into potential leads.

Brad Simpson, Suzanne's husband, remains in custody, facing charges of assault and unlawful restraint related to a prior incident. This event reportedly involved a neighbor witnessing a physical altercation between the couple shortly before Suzanne vanished. Despite being detained, Brad has not been cooperating with the police in their search efforts.

Recently, an arrest was made involving James Cotter, a former business associate of Brad Simpson. Cotter faces serious allegations that he assisted Brad in hiding a weapon that might be linked to Suzanne's disappearance. He has been charged with tampering with evidence — a felony.

Investigators widened their search efforts last week to include a nearby landfill but found no signs of Suzanne. As the inquiry continues, Brad Simpson's lawyer has dismissed the charges against his client as "ludicrous."

The search for Suzanne Simpson remains ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information to come forward.
