The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department swiftly responded to the shooting, which occurred at Prince Law Group's office, just after 10 a.m. local time.

According to a law enforcement source cited by local outlet KTNV, the gunman fatally shot two individuals inside the law office before turning the gun on himself during a deposition. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown, and police are currently investigating the incident.

Upon receiving reports of the shooting, the police shut down traffic in the area surrounding the crime scene, located at the intersection of Charleston Boulevard and Pavilion Center Drive. Authorities took to social media to advise the public to avoid the area while emphasizing the ongoing nature of the situation. Multiple emergency vehicles from the LVMPD were dispatched to the scene.

As a precautionary measure, nearby schools were briefly put on soft lockdowns, which have since been lifted, according to FOX 5. However, businesses in the vicinity, including City National Bank and a Life Time gym, were not placed on lockdown. Sources mentioned by FOX 5 have reassured the community that there is no ongoing threat.

The names of the victims and the gunman have yet to be released, pending further investigation and notification of next of kin. The incident serves as a grim reminder of the prevalence of gun violence, prompting renewed calls for stricter gun control measures.
