RHOC Alum Lauri Peterson's Son Josh Waring Dies at 35

Former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member, Lauri Peterson, is grieving the loss of her son, Josh Waring, who passed away at the age of 35. Lauri took to Instagram on April 6 to share the heart-wrenching news, expressing her deep sorrow.

Lauri shared family photos of Josh and wrote, "It is with a shattered heart that I write this post to let you know that my sweet Josh left this earth Easter Sunday." She emphasized the overwhelming feeling of loss and the pain she is experiencing. Josh had faced numerous challenges throughout his adult life, fighting tirelessly for his own survival. Unfortunately, this past Sunday, the struggle became insurmountable.

Growing up, Josh had a childhood filled with intellect, humor, and various outdoor activities such as snowboarding, mountain hikes, and bodyboarding. He had a love for music and an optimistic outlook on life, even during times of hardship. Josh's sense of humor and kindness towards others remained intact, as he defended those who were unable to defend themselves. His greatest source of joy and purpose came from his daughter Kennady, and he took immense pride in watching her grow and thrive.

No information regarding the cause of Josh's death has been disclosed by Lauri Peterson. However, it is known that he had been battling drug addiction and legal issues for several years. His struggles were documented on the earlier seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County, where he made appearances until 2013.

Josh had previously served multiple prison sentences. In 2020, he was released after spending four years behind bars for pleading guilty to felony assault with a firearm, assaulting a man during a police chase. Initially, he had been charged with attempted murder for a 2016 shooting incident outside a sober living home.
