**Former Jets Coach Robert Saleh Joins Packers as Consultant**

On Wednesday, former Jets head coach Robert Saleh was seen at the Packers practice session, signaling a potential ongoing role with the team. Saleh's presence comes through a personal and professional connection with Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, with whom he has a long-standing relationship dating back to their coaching days in college and with the Texans.

In a recent press conference, LaFleur confirmed Saleh's new position, revealing that he will assist the Packers' offensive coaching staff in a consultant capacity described as "fluid." Saleh, who previously served as the 49ers defensive coordinator prior to his tenure with the Jets, brings valuable defensive insights to the offensive strategy.

"We've been close for a really long time," LaFleur mentioned. "We were roommates together back at Central Michigan. I thought it was a good idea just to bring him here, and he's helping us on the offensive side of the ball. I think that's always a good deal to have that perspective, you know, that defensive perspective on that side of the ball. Just taking a look at some of the things we're doing."

Without a concrete timetable in place, LaFleur noted that Saleh is expected to return to practice on Thursday and will be involved with the team sporadically throughout the season, offering his expertise and perspective whenever needed.
