**Drone Strike in Northern Israel Injures Over 60, Hezbollah Claims Responsibility**

A drone attack in northern Israel's Binyamina region has left more than 60 people injured, according to medics. The injuries range from critical to mild, and the victims have been transported to five regional hospitals via ambulances and helicopters, as stated by the volunteer emergency response group, United Hatzalah.

Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for the assault, explaining that the target was a training camp of the Israeli Defence Forces' (IDF) Golani Brigade. The camp is located between Tel Aviv and Haifa. The militant organization stated that the attack, which involved a "swarm of drones," was a response to recent Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon and Beirut.

Due to Israeli censorship regulations, explicit details about the precise location and nature of the targets were not disclosed. However, some media outlets reported that a low-level drone launched from Lebanon caused the strike, bypassing early warning systems. Video footage shown on Israeli media displays wounded individuals being assisted into emergency vehicles, including helicopters.

Medical reports indicate that 67 individuals sustained injuries from the attack, with four in critical condition and five seriously wounded. Most of the wounded have been taken to Hillel Yaffe Medical Centre in Hadera, while others were evacuated to hospitals in Tel Hashomer, Haifa, Afula, and Netanya.

Preliminary information suggests that many of the injured were in a communal dining area and caught by surprise. Social media images show a mess hall with a damaged roof, likely from the strike. The incident has added to the escalating tensions in the region, with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu demanding the peacekeeping force leave the area.

In the wider context, central Beirut has seen a shift as the fear from recent attacks and displacement of people fills the area. Experts like Giora Eiland suggest that Israel should pressure Hamas by warning civilians to evacuate northern Gaza before sealing it off.
