### Dave Portnoy Vows to Continue Music Career Amid Diss Track Controversy
Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, has declared his intention to keep making music despite his diss track targeting Zach Bryan being repeatedly taken down from streaming services. The track, titled "Smallest Man," was released on Tuesday with podcast co-host Josh Richards but has since been removed from YouTube and Spotify.
The song, taking jabs at Bryan following his split from Portnoy's friend and podcast co-host Brianna Chickenfry, included pointed lyrics such as "How lucky is Bri, to be free of ZB and his STDs." In a video posted on social media on Wednesday, Portnoy addressed the ongoing issues with the song's removal.
Initially suspecting a copyright issue with the song's outro, Portnoy discovered that Richards' contract with Warner Music Group was likely the reason for the takedowns. He suggested that Bryan, also represented by Warner Music Group, was behind the effort to remove the track, labeling the singer "thin-skinned."
Despite these setbacks, Portnoy has no plans to stop producing music. He emphatically stated his commitment to creating more diss tracks, even hinting at possible collaborations with Brianna Chickenfry. "I will write 10,000 diss tracks," Portnoy declared, adding that the more Warner Music Group pushes back, the more determined he becomes.
Criticizing Warner Music Group, Portnoy warned that their actions would only escalate the situation. "You're in the mud, you got me mad," he said, affirming his readiness to continue creating music regardless of the obstacles.
In addition to his musical ventures, Portnoy mentioned his upcoming appearance on the news to discuss the 2024 presidential election, where Donald Trump has emerged victorious against Vice President Kamala Harris. He concluded his message with a promise to resume his musical activities within the next 24 hours.
