In an unexpected turn of events, the Division III Baseball World Series faced delays due to rain showers in the Cleveland area. Birmingham-Southern, the victorious team from the super regional against Denison University, was scheduled to play against Wisconsin-Whitewater at 4 p.m. CT at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio.

Originally, the elimination game was set for 2 p.m. CT, but due to the weather conditions, the start time was pushed back. Meanwhile, Misericordia held a slim lead of 1-0 against top-seeded Endicott in the early innings of the other elimination game.

Despite the setback caused by the rain, the Birmingham-Southern baseball team, who recently had their school operations cease, remains determined to continue their journey in the Division III Baseball World Series.
