### Actor Jonathan Joss Dies in San Antonio Shooting Incident
Jonathan Joss, known for his roles in "King of the Hill" and "Parks and Recreation," tragically lost his life in a shooting incident in San Antonio, Texas, according to local police. Joss, 57, who voiced the character of John Redcorn on the beloved animated series and portrayed Ken Hotate on the popular sitcom, was found near a roadway on Dorsey Drive after officers responded to a reported shooting in progress.
Upon arrival, San Antonio Police officers discovered Joss and immediately administered life-saving measures until paramedics reached the scene. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead by emergency responders.
Joss' husband, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, confirmed the devastating news to the Associated Press. In a deeply emotional statement, de Gonzales recounted the horrific event, revealing that he and Joss were confronted and threatened by an armed man while they were checking their mail. The couple had been mourning the loss of their three dogs, who had perished in a house fire earlier this year. According to de Gonzales, Joss heroically pushed him out of harm's way, sacrificing his own life in the process.
The San Antonio Police Department announced through social media that their investigation has found no evidence linking the murder to Joss's sexual orientation. This statement comes amidst ongoing inquiries into possible motives behind the senseless act of violence.
Jonathan Joss took on the role of John Redcorn in "King of the Hill" from the show's second season, following the untimely death of the original voice actor, Victor Aaron. Joss's portrayal continued until the series concluded. With a reboot of the popular animated series set to premiere on Hulu in early August, fans can look forward to hearing Joss among the original cast members. Days before his death, Joss made an appearance at a "King of the Hill" panel and sneak peek event at The Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas, leaving fans with final memories of his dedication to the show.
