### Arrest Warrant Issued for Man Accused in Viral Post-Game Assault
Baltimore Police have issued an arrest warrant for a Baltimore man accused of assaulting two individuals after a Ravens-Commanders game. The incident, captured on a viral video that has amassed tens of millions of views, has drawn widespread backlash. Authorities have named Jack Callis, 24, of Baltimore, as the suspect and have charged him with one count of first-degree assault and three counts of second-degree assault.
According to Patrick Seidel, one of the attorneys representing Callis, prosecutors informed him of the charges earlier that morning. Seidel mentioned that they had not received any discovery materials or the formal charging document yet. Despite this, Callis has expressed his willingness to cooperate fully and plans to surrender voluntarily.
The altercation occurred following the Ravens' 30-23 victory over the Commanders last Sunday in a game known as the "Battle of the Beltway." The video clip shows a man, identified by police as Callis, wearing a Lamar Jackson jersey. He is seen approaching two 23-year-old men in Commanders jerseys outside the Cross Street Market in Federal Hill. The individual in the Ravens jersey then assaults one of the fans by kicking and punching him in the face and drags the other fan against a wall before pushing him away. As he walks off, Callis turns back, flexes an arm, and yells, "I don't lose."
Earlier in the week, police reported that they had identified a "possible suspect" and were seeking to speak with the victims of the attack. At that time, Callis' name was not disclosed. However, social media users quickly identified him as the man in the video, which has garnered over 49 million views. Subsequently, users tagged Callis' employer, Maury Donnelly & Parr Inc., which confirmed that Callis was no longer with the company.
This is not Callis' first brush with the law. In 2021, Baltimore County Police arrested him after allegedly witnessing him and another man assaulting someone at the intersection of York Road and Pennsylvania Avenue in Towson. Court records indicate that Callis received probation before judgment for a charge of second-degree assault and was fined $100.
