Waterville police are on a manhunt for Ricki M. Gould, a Maine man who allegedly assaulted an officer and fled in a stolen vehicle. The suspect is now considered armed and dangerous, posing a potential threat to the community.

As the officer approached the silver Toyota Tacoma, Gould allegedly initiated a physical attack against the law enforcement official before making his escape in the stolen truck. The injured officer received medical treatment and has been discharged from the hospital.

The abandoned truck was later found in Fairfield, intensifying concerns about Gould's whereabouts. Furthermore, police revealed that Gould and the woman accompanying him are believed to have stolen yet another vehicle from St. Albans on Tuesday morning, reinforcing the need for utmost caution.
