SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. - A rollover tractor-trailer crash at the Dunbar - South Charleston bridge in Kanawha County, West Virginia, has resulted in the closure of all westbound lanes of I-64. According to Metro 911 dispatchers, the accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, causing significant traffic disruptions in the area.

Dispatchers have reported that the closure of the westbound lanes is expected to last for an extended period due to fuel leakage resulting from the crash. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the affected area.

The driver involved in the crash has been transported to the hospital for medical treatment, although the full extent of their injuries remains unknown at this time.

Thankfully, eastbound traffic on I-64 has not been affected by the incident, and normal traffic flow in that direction continues uninterrupted.

Authorities are working diligently to manage the crash scene, clear the wreckage, and ensure the safety of all motorists affected by the closure.

Motorists are urged to stay updated on local news and traffic reports and to exercise caution when driving in the area to prevent further accidents or delays.
