Princess Beatrice's stepson, Christopher Woolf Mapelli Mozzi, known as 'Wolfie,' made his first appearance at a royal engagement on Friday. The seven-year-old joined his royal cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, at the Princess of Wales' carol concert in Westminster Abbey. The event was attended by members of the royal family and various invited guests.

Wolfie, the son of Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and his ex-fiancée Dara Huang, has been kept out of the public eye until now. Proudly walking hand-in-hand with Princess Beatrice, he embraced this special moment. Beatrice has previously described Wolfie as a "bonus child," while Sarah Ferguson, Beatrice's mother, refers to him as her grandson.

Joining their royal family members, the Wales children participated in a heartwarming gesture by hand-writing cards to children from various charities. One card, posted by Prince George, caught the attention of many as it had 'Tony' written on it. Speculation arose that the card may be for Tony Hudgell, a nine-year-old boy who raised millions of pounds for Evelina London Children's Hospital by walking on prosthetic legs. Buckingham Palace confirmed that George himself had written the card but emphasized that the recipients' identities are private.

Tony, from West Malling in Kent, had the opportunity to meet with Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, earlier this week at Evelina London Children's Hospital. His mother, Paula, was pictured feeling emotional during the meeting. Tony, who lost his legs due to abuse inflicted by his birth parents, has overcome immense challenges and has become an inspiration to many.

The carol concert also witnessed the presence of second cousins Savannah Phillips and Isla Phillips, aged 12 and 11, respectively. Frederik Windsor's daughters, Maud and Isabella, who are Princess Anne's grandchildren, also attended the event. Missing from the festivities were Zara Tindall's children, Mia, Lena, and Lucas, as well as Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn. Princess Eugenie's children, August and Ernest, and Pippa Middleton's little ones were also not in attendance.

The royal children, dressed in their stylish outfits, put on a sweet display as they entered the carol concert. Prince Louis, with his firm handshake, greeted The Dean of Westminster upon arrival. Prince George's heartfelt letter to 'Tony' and the children's heartfelt cards added an extra touch of warmth and generosity to the festive atmosphere.

The carol concert, held at Westminster Abbey, allowed Kate Middleton to interact with performers and members of the congregation. She expressed admiration for American singer Adam Lambert and revealed that Princess Charlotte is learning to play the piano. The evening was filled with beautiful music performances and poignant readings delivered by Prince William, actors Jim Broadbent and Michael Ward, and TV presenter Emma Willis.

The event, which will be broadcast on Christmas Eve on ITV1 and ITVX, embraced the spirit of giving during the holiday season. It showcased the unity and love among the royal children, their extended family, and the wider community as they joined together to spread joy and extend kindness to those in need.
