Man in Custody Following Triple Homicide in Coon Rapids

Coon Rapids, MN - In a shocking and tragic incident, authorities have reported a triple homicide that occurred on Friday afternoon in a home located in Coon Rapids. The suspect is now in custody, although neither the names of the suspect nor the victims have been released as of yet.

According to the Anoka County sheriff's office, a 911 call was received at approximately 12:24 p.m. on Friday. During the call, operators could hear disturbing sounds in the background, indicating a potential disturbance at a residence near the 200 block of 94th Avenue Northwest.

In response to the emergency call, the Coon Rapids and Blaine police departments, in collaboration with the Anoka County sheriff's office, promptly dispatched officers to the scene. Upon arrival at the residence, they made a grim discovery - two males and a female were found dead inside the home.

Fortunately, two young juveniles who were also present at the time of the incident were unharmed. Authorities are currently providing support and assistance to the traumatized children.
