Australian actor Jacob Elordi is currently under police investigation after an alleged altercation with Joshua Fox, a producer for The Kyle & Jackie O Show. The incident took place outside a Sydney-area beer garden and reportedly arose from a reference made to Elordi's character in the TV series Saltburn.
According to audio footage obtained by Fox and played on the radio show, Fox approached Elordi and requested that he send bathwater to his colleague Jackie O. Sensing that he was being filmed, Elordi asked Fox to stop recording, which he agreed to do. However, the situation escalated when Fox refused to delete the footage, leading Elordi to become aggressive.
Describing the encounter on the radio show, Fox stated, "He kind of gets up in my face… I could've kissed him he was that close. So I'm backed against this wall, feeling quite intimidated." Fox further claimed that Elordi's two friends joined him, creating an even more threatening environment.
Eventually, the alleged altercation culminated in Elordi pushing Fox against the wall and placing his hands on his throat. One of Elordi's friends reportedly intervened and pulled him away from Fox.
Authorities have confirmed that police are now investigating the incident, stating, "Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident are continuing."
E! News has reached out to both the police and Elordi's representatives for comments but has not received any responses yet.
This incident has drawn attention to Elordi, known for his roles in shows like Euphoria and his upcoming portrayal of Elvis Presley in the movie Priscilla. As the legal process unfolds, fans and industry insiders await further updates on the situation.
