A homicide investigation has been launched in southern Colorado after the disturbing discovery of a child's remains encased in concrete in a storage unit in Pueblo. The Pueblo Police Department is now appealing to the public for assistance in finding two missing children, Jesus Dominguez and Yesenia Dominguez, as part of their ongoing investigation.

Although the police have not confirmed whether the remains belong to one of the missing children, an official identification by Pueblo's coroner is still pending. The Pueblo Police Department released a statement this week stating that the Dominguez children have not been seen for nearly 6 years, highlighting the urgent need to locate them.

Authorities have interviewed two individuals who are considered persons of interest in the case. The discovery was made three weeks ago on the 600 block of West 6th Street, where the Kings Storage Center is located, across from the Dennis Maes Pueblo Judicial Building. On the morning of January 10th, a person found a metal container in a storage unit that was filled with hardened concrete. Upon further investigation by a specialized police unit, it was determined that the concrete contained the remains of a child.

The Pueblo Police Department has provided information about the missing children to aid in their search. Yesenia Dominguez was last seen when she was approximately 3 years old and would currently be 9 years old. Jesus Dominguez was last seen at approximately 5 years old and would now be around 10 years old.
