Gilbert Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Individuals Involved in East Valley Teen Violence Cases

Gilbert, AZ - The Gilbert Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying individuals believed to be involved in a series of teen violence incidents throughout the East Valley. This comes as authorities have reopened four investigations and uncovered five previously unreported cases.

In a video statement, Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell voiced her concerns regarding the recent surge in teen violence incidents. The Gilbert Police Department confirmed that they are currently investigating a total of nine cases related to teen violence.

Of these nine cases, authorities are specifically seeking information to identify individuals involved in four incidents. This includes one reopened case and three new cases. Details of each case, along with accompanying photos released by the Gilbert Police Department, have been provided to aid in the identification process.

The reopened investigation, labeled as Case #22-147572, occurred at a residence near Higley and Elliot roads in December 2022. While an arrest has been made, additional individuals connected to the incident need to be identified.

The first new investigation, labeled as Case #24-1419, involves a reported aggravated assault that took place in a parking lot near the intersection of Williams Field Road and Market Street. The date of this incident remains unknown.

The second new investigation, labeled as Case #24-1414, focuses on an aggravated assault that occurred on a sidewalk near Guadalupe Road and Freestone Parkway. The exact date of this attack remains unidentified.

Lastly, the third new investigation, labeled as Case #24-1392, centers around an aggravated assault in a parking garage close to Gilbert Road in downtown Gilbert. Similarly, the date of this incident has not been determined.

The Gilbert Police Department is urging anyone with information about the individuals depicted in the released photos to come forward and contact them at 480-503-6500. Tips can be made anonymously through the online tip site glbrt.is/GPDSubmitATip, with reference to the corresponding case number and image.

It should be noted that these investigations are separate from the ongoing Queen Creek investigation into the death of Preston Lord.
