In a tragic incident, former Texas college football star Zach Muckleroy and his two children, 12-year-old Judson and 9-year-old Lindsey, lost their lives in a car crash while traveling to visit family for Thanksgiving. The accident occurred on Wednesday on Highway 281, involving a collision between three cars.

Muckleroy's wife, Lauren, survived the crash but was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. Despite her condition, she is painfully aware that she has lost her beloved family. The identity of the fourth victim involved in the crash has not been released to the public yet.

Muckleroy, known for his achievements in college football, had taken over as CEO of his family business, Muckleroy and Falls Construction, three years ago. His company issued a heartfelt statement on Facebook, expressing their profound sadness at his untimely demise. The statement acknowledged Muckleroy's charismatic personality, his charitable heart, and his deep love for his family and alma mater, TCU.

The devastating news of the accident prompted a vigil in memory of the victims at the University Christian Church in Fort Worth. Hundreds of people attended to pay their respects and offer support to the grieving family. Senior minister Russ Peterman provided an update on Lauren's condition, revealing that she has undergone multiple surgeries and regained consciousness. However, waking up to the realization that she has lost her entire family must be an unimaginable pain for her to bear.

Reverend Peterman shared how the Muckleroy family has been part of their church community for generations. He described Zach as not just a member of the congregation, but also a beloved friend who had an impact on everyone he met. Former mayor of Fort Worth, Betsy Price, a close friend of Muckleroy's parents, reminisced about their childhood together and expressed her disbelief at the tragedy. The Muckleroy family was regarded as pillars of the community, known for their strong Christian faith, family values, and successful business ventures.

The news of Zach Muckleroy's death weighed heavily on his former college football coach Gary Patterson, who shared the devastating news with a heavy heart. He described Muckleroy as a great Horn Frog, husband, father, and friend, emphasizing the profound loss suffered by the community.

This unimaginable tragedy serves as a somber reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing our loved ones every day. As the community mourns the loss of Zach Muckleroy, Judson, and Lindsey, prayers and support pour in for Lauren Muckleroy as she navigates the difficult road ahead, coping with the loss of her entire family.
