In a horrifying incident that has left a community in shock, a five-year-old boy and his parents were discovered brutally murdered in their Bronx apartment. The bodies of Jonathan Rivera, 38, Hanoi Peralta, 33, and their son Kayden Rivera, 5, were found inside an apartment building on 674 East 136th Street in Mott Haven.

The tragic discovery was made on Sunday morning when police responded to a 911 call at 6:40am. Officers found Mr. Rivera in the hallway of the building, covered in blood and suffering multiple stab wounds. Shortly after, the lifeless bodies of Ms. Peralta and Kayden were found inside their first-floor apartment, also bearing multiple stab wounds.

As the investigation unfolds, the community is in mourning for the young boy and his parents. Jose Torres, the former superintendent of the building, spoke fondly of Kayden, whom he interacted with daily as he went to and from school. "I play with him every day," said Torres, reminiscing about his little buddy.

Authorities have determined the cause of death for all three victims as homicide. However, as of now, there are no known suspects or motives. The family, who had reportedly lived in the building for about five years, was seen as a close-knit unit that kept to themselves. According to neighbors, no issues or problems were ever observed between the couple or their young son.

Dahan Ali, owner of a deli in the building, shared his disbelief at the tragic loss. "I would always see her every morning at 7, 7:30 when I came. She would take her son to school, with her son every morning," said Ali, describing his encounters with the victims.

The investigation into this triple homicide is underway, with law enforcement officials working diligently to uncover any leads that may help them solve the case. The motive behind this senseless act of violence remains a mystery, leaving the community on edge as they grapple with this unfathomable tragedy.

As the Bronx community unites in grief, the memory of Jonathan Rivera, Hanoi Peralta, and their young son, Kayden Rivera, will be cherished. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to this crime to come forward and assist in bringing justice to the victims and closure to their devastated loved ones.
