In his ongoing feud with Disney CEO Bob Iger, tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has once again taken to social media to voice his strong opinions. This time, Musk criticized Iger for Disney's continued advertising on Meta platforms amidst a recent lawsuit filed against Meta and its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.

The lawsuit, brought forth by New Mexico's attorney general, accuses Meta's social networks of insufficiently protecting children, stating that Instagram and Facebook have become "prime locations for predators to trade child pornography and solicit minors for sex." Attorney General Raúl Torrez's claims have brought attention to Meta's responsibility in safeguarding its users, raising concerns about the company's advertising partners.

A Twitter user pointed out that Disney, despite pulling its ads from Musk's X platform after the entrepreneur endorsed an antisemitic post, was still advertising on Meta. Musk replied, misspelling Iger's name, "Bob Eiger thinks it's cool to advertise next to child exploitation material. Real stand-up guy."

When asked why Iger hadn't been fired yet, Musk responded, "He should be fired immediately," while also reiterating his call for Iger's dismissal in response to a news headline.

Musk's remarks come as part of a pattern where he targets advertisers who have distanced themselves from his platforms. At The New York Times' DealBook Summit, Musk bluntly expressed his sentiments towards companies that have withdrawn support: "Go f**k yourself."

During the same event, Iger was questioned about Disney's decision to halt advertising on X. He acknowledged Musk's prominent role in various companies, including Tesla, SpaceX, and X, stating, "We know Elon is larger than life in many respects." Iger alluded to Musk's controversial support of an antisemitic tweet, explaining that the association between Musk, X, and that position was deemed unfavorable by Disney.

Musk has faced significant backlash for his statements on social media, particularly his proclamation that the antisemitic post was the "absolute truth." However, he later retracted his comment, admitting it was "foolish."

It is worth noting that Iger and Disney are not the only individuals and companies that Musk has targeted in the past. The billionaire entrepreneur has publicly criticized major figures such as Apple and President Joe Biden.

As of now, Elon Musk has not responded to requests for further comment on the matter. The ongoing dispute underscores the growing tension between Musk and Iger, shedding light on the larger issue of responsible advertising practices on social media platforms like Meta.
