CASS COUNTY, Iowa (KCCI) - Law enforcement agencies in Iowa are seeking the public's help in locating a man involved in a kidnapping incident in Cass County. The incident, which occurred on Saturday evening, has prompted authorities to launch a thorough investigation.

According to the first victim, the kidnapping took place in Lincoln, Nebraska, when an armed man forced him to drive to Chicago. However, when they reached Cass County on I-80, the suspect targeted another vehicle, a Silver Chevy truck, and fled with another male passenger described as an older white man with a beard.

Authorities have provided descriptions of both the suspect and the passenger in hopes of generating leads. The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds. He is believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s and has well-trimmed hair and a short beard.

The whereabouts of the truck and the two men remain unknown at this time. It is unclear if they are still en route to Chicago or if they have changed their plans.
