Young Sheldon Tops Thursday's TV Ratings, while 9-1-1 and Grey's Anatomy Shine in Demo

In the latest TV ratings, CBS' Young Sheldon emerged as the most-watched show on Thursday, capturing the attention of millions of viewers. Meanwhile, ABC's 9-1-1 and Grey's Anatomy dominated the night in the coveted demo ratings.
According to Nielsen finals, 9-1-1's season premiere drew an impressive 4.93 million total viewers, marking an improvement over its average audience from Season 6. The show also maintained a steady demo rating of 0.6, making it 9-1-1's biggest audience since its milestone 6x10 episode. The first responders drama outperformed its predecessor, Station 19, by 26% in viewership and a significant 20% in demo ratings. This strong performance provided ABC's time slot with its largest audience in over two years, since February 24, 2022. Fans of the show echoed the positive reception, granting the season opener an average grade of "A-" in a TVLine poll.
Benefiting from a stronger lead-in, Grey's Anatomy also experienced an uptick in viewership, garnering 3.6 million viewers and matching its demo rating of 0.6. This surpassed its previous averages of 3.3 million viewers and 0.4 demo rating. Meanwhile, Station 19, which is bidding farewell in its final season, hit series lows by attracting 2.8 million viewers and a demo rating of 0.4, matching the show's lowest point.
Although CBS faced tougher competition, Young Sheldon still managed to capture the attention of 6.5 million viewers, with a demo rating of 0.5. While the show experienced a slight decrease in viewership, So Help Me Todd saw a rise in demo ratings. Ghosts also suffered a minor drop in viewership, attracting 5.5 million viewers, but remained steady in demo ratings.
Over at NBC, Law & Order's new season, featuring Tony Goldwyn's debut as the new District Attorney, drew an audience of 4.2 million viewers and a demo rating of 0.4, with viewers grading the episode a "B." SVU stayed consistent with 4.7 million viewers and a demo rating of 0.5, while Organized Crime dipped slightly to 3.4 million viewers and a demo rating of 0.3.
FOX's Next Level Chef ticked down in viewership, drawing 1.8 million viewers and a 0.3 demo rating, while Farmer Wants a Wife held steady with 1.8 million viewers and a 0.2 demo rating.
On The CW, Son of a Critch attracted 349,000 viewers and a 0.1 demo rating, while the season finale of Children Ruin Everything added 239,000 viewers with a 0.1 demo rating.
