In an unexpected surprise for fans, Hollywood superstars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence made an appearance at an early screening of the highly anticipated Bad Boys sequel, "Bad Boys: Ride Or Die," at a movie theater in Los Angeles this week. The duo, known for their roles as Miami cops Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, delighted moviegoers with their unexpected presence.

Smith, 55, took to Instagram to share the exciting news with his followers, accompanied by a mirror selfie of himself dressed in a stylish white T-shirt and designer gear. He expressed his excitement, saying, "Gettin' back into Movie Star Beastmode! Sneak @badboys Screenings tonight!"

As Smith and Lawrence arrived at the crowded theater, the atmosphere became electric. Fans cheered and screamed as the beloved actors distributed free bags of popcorn and water bottles, going the extra mile to interact with them one-on-one.

Taking center stage at the front of the theater, Smith and Lawrence introduced the film, expressing their gratitude for the fans' support. Smith shared, "You guys are the first audience that is seeing this movie finished," which sparked loud cheers from the audience. The actors also mentioned that similar screenings were happening simultaneously in cities such as Chicago, Houston, Philly, New York, DC, Miami, and Atlanta.

"Bad Boys: Ride Or Die" is the long-awaited fourth installment in the action-comedy franchise, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. The film, a direct sequel to "Bad Boys For Life" (2020), reunites Smith, Lawrence, and other returning cast members, including Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, DJ Khaled, and Jacob Scipio. Notably, Tasha Smith joins the cast, taking over the role of Theresa Burnett.

Production for the film began in April 2023, filming in Atlanta and Miami. However, due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, filming was temporarily suspended in July but resumed in the new year until it concluded on March 4 in Miami.

The previous three films in the franchise have enjoyed immense success at the worldwide box office. "Bad Boys" (1995) grossed $141.4 million against a $19 million budget, while "Bad Boys II" (2003) brought in $273.3 million, though its inflated budget significantly affected profits. The third installment, "Bad Boys For Life" (2020), became the most successful of the trilogy, earning $426.5 million with a $90 million budget.

"Bad Boys: Ride Or Die" is set to premiere in theaters worldwide on June 7, giving fans the chance to witness the dynamic duo of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in action once again.
