### T-Mobile Service Outage Impacts Utah Customers Statewide

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) - On Tuesday, Nov. 12, T-Mobile users throughout Utah experienced a significant service interruption, leaving many unable to connect to the network. The outage was first reported around 11 a.m., with the number of affected users increasing as the day progressed.

Reports of the network issues spanned the state, from Logan in Cache County to St. George in Washington County, affecting urban and rural areas alike. T-Mobile customers took to platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit, where they inundated the T-Mobile Help account with concerns and requests for updates on the outage. While Utah appeared to be the most affected, users from Ohio and Georgia reported having no such issue, confirming that the outage was localized to Utah.

A T-Mobile Customer Service representative confirmed to ABC4.com that the outage was indeed widespread throughout Utah. The teams were actively working to identify and resolve the problem, although no specific cause was mentioned. The representative estimated that such outages typically take one to two hours to fix, and true to this timeline, service for many users started restoring just before 2 p.m.

Though the outage primarily impacted T-Mobile customers, users of services that rely on the T-Mobile network, such as Google Fi and Metro, also reported disruptions.

As of now, there have been no reported issues from customers using other networks, but it's still unclear if any have been affected. ABC4 reached out to a T-Mobile spokesperson for further details and will provide updates as new information emerges.

This is an ongoing story; more details will follow as they become available.
