**Commanders Hopeful for Jayden Daniels' Return Against Bears**

The Washington Commanders are holding out hope that quarterback Jayden Daniels will be fit to play this Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Daniels, who has been designated as questionable for the game, participated in a limited capacity during Friday's practice. This comes after he missed sessions on both Wednesday and Thursday earlier this week.

Following Friday's practice, Daniels expressed his desire to take the field on Sunday, although he admitted that the ultimate decision lies with the coaching staff. Head coach Dan Quinn mentioned in Friday's news conference that the team put Daniels through rigorous drills in practice and will monitor how he responds in the following days.

Daniels was the second overall pick in this year's draft and has had an impressive start to his rookie season. He has completed 75.6 percent of his passes, accumulating 1,410 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions. Additionally, Daniels has proven to be a dual-threat, rushing for 372 yards and scoring four touchdowns on the ground.

If Daniels is unable to play, backup quarterback Marcus Mariota is expected to step in as the starter. Another notable absence for the Commanders will be offensive tackle Brandon Coleman, who has been ruled out due to a concussion. Coleman did not participate in any practice sessions this week.

Aside from Coleman, the Commanders have reported that all other players on their 53-man roster are ready and available to play in Sunday's game.
