University of South Carolina Softball Coach Beverly Smith Steps Down After 14 Season

Throughout her tenure, Coach Smith successfully led the team to the postseason on nine occasions. Since the NCAA Championship for softball was established in 1982, the South Carolina softball program has qualified for the NCAA Regionals an impressive 24 times.
