**Aaron Rodgers' Future with Steelers Remains Uncertain Amid Speculative Reports**

In a developing scenario, Aaron Rodgers has yet to formally commit to joining the Pittsburgh Steelers, as confirmed by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Pelissero clarified that Rodgers has not definitively indicated his intention to sign with Pittsburgh, despite various hints suggesting he might. “There’s all these signs that he’s coming but he has not affirmatively said 'Hey, June 9 book me the ticket. I'm coming in and I'm going to join this team.' That has not happened as of this point," Pelissero disclosed.

Amid the uncertainty, there remains an air of optimism within the Steelers' camp. Jeremy Fowler reported that Pittsburgh is hopeful about securing the veteran quarterback. Adding to the positive outlook, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin provided an encouraging update post their meeting with Rodgers during the 2025 NFL draft. Tomlin shared, “We’ve had really productive talks with him, and I’ve enjoyed getting to know him,” according to ESPN's Brooke Pryor.

Rodgers experienced an extensive six-hour visit to Pittsburgh's facilities on March 21, during which he interacted closely with the coaching staff. Despite ruling out potential stints with teams like the New Orleans Saints, Rodgers hasn't set a clear timeline for any forthcoming contract with the Steelers.

Having concluded the 2024 season with the New York Jets, Rodgers recorded a 5-12 performance as a starter. He achieved a 63 percent completion rate for 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns against 11 interceptions, although his QBR of 48.0 placed him 25th among the 32 qualifying quarterbacks.

Currently, the Steelers' quarterback roster includes Mason Rudolph, Skylar Thompson, and sixth-round rookie Will Howard. Both Rudolph's historical experience with the Steelers and Thompson's three career starts won't likely suffice for the team's long-term starter ambitions, especially as they aim for a third consecutive playoff run in 2025.

With Steelers' mandatory minicamp approaching on June 10, anticipation mounts over whether Rodgers will be donned in Pittsburgh colors by then. Until Rodgers makes an affirmative decision, the speculation continues.
