Tragic Plane Crash Claims Lives of Gospel Quartet Members and Others

In a devastating turn of events, a plane crash in Wyoming on Friday afternoon has resulted in the loss of seven lives, including three members of the renowned gospel quartet, The Nelons. Kelly Nelon Clark, her husband Jason Clark, and their daughter Amber Kistler were among the passengers aboard the ill-fated flight.
The group was heading to Seattle, where they were scheduled to join the Gaither Homecoming Cruise to Alaska. The Nelons have been a beloved fixture in the music scene since their formation in 1985, previously known as The Rex Nelon Singers starting in 1975. Their contributions to gospel music were recognized and celebrated when they were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 2016.
