**Significant Shake-ups in College Football Rankings After Upset-Filled Saturday**
A weekend filled with surprising outcomes has led to a considerable reshuffling in the college football rankings, prominently impacting several top-10 teams. Indiana, Alabama, and Ole Miss have all fallen from their previous positions following their respective losses.
In the latest Coaches Poll top 25, the top five teams saw little change, with Notre Dame moving up to No. 5 while the top four retained their spots. However, the remainder of the rankings experienced notable shifts, particularly among teams initially considered strong contenders for College Football Playoff spots.
Indiana, previously No. 5, tumbled to No. 10 after a 38-15 defeat at Ohio State. Alabama plummeted six spots, now sitting at No. 13, following their loss to Oklahoma. Ole Miss also experienced a significant drop, moving from No. 9 to No. 16 after their setback against Florida.
These adjustments have allowed other teams to ascend into the top 10. Miami climbed to No. 7, Tennessee moved to No. 8, and SMU reached No. 9, each of them improving by three positions.
One of the week's most dramatic ascents was made by Arizona State, which jumped from No. 22 to No. 15 after securing a 28-23 victory over BYU. This defeat further impacted the Cougars, who have slipped to No. 20 after two consecutive losses, having been as high as No. 8 just two weeks ago.
Additional movement within the rankings saw Army and Colorado dropping after their Week 13 losses. Army fell five places but remained in the top 25 at No. 22, while Colorado was pushed out of the rankings entirely. Meanwhile, Missouri and Illinois capitalized on their recent victories to re-enter the top 25, now positioned at No. 24 and No. 25, respectively.
