### Tom Brady Officially Approved as Part Owner of Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders fans have been thinking about Tom Brady for more than twenty years, especially because of the infamous "Tuck Rule" game. Now, the legendary quarterback is officially a part of the Raiders organization as a part owner. The long journey to make Brady an NFL owner concluded with NFL owners giving their approval during the league's fall meetings. Reports indicate that Brady received unanimous support.
In May 2023, Brady, along with Knighthead Capital's co-founder Tom Wagner, agreed to acquire roughly a 10 percent stake in the Raiders. Initially, the sale faced delays as the NFL's finance committee raised concerns that Brady's share was being sold at a price significantly lower than the team's actual valuation. This issue was resolved in February when the purchase price was adjusted, paving the way for the deal's finalization.
Even after this adjustment, Brady's inclusion as an owner required approval from at least three-fourths of the NFL owners, a requirement that was met at the fall meetings. The only complication to Brady's new role might be his current position as a Fox broadcaster, a job he started this season. Reports suggest that Brady will not be permitted to participate in production meetings or attend practices as he prepares for his broadcasts.
Brady is celebrated as one of the most influential players in NFL history, boasting seven Super Bowl victories with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, along with multiple passing records over his 23-year career. Now, he is once again part of the NFL, but this time in the boardroom rather than on the field.
