### Jerry Jones Defends Sun Glare at AT&T Stadium, Cites Home Field Advantage

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has firmly reiterated his stance on the sunlight issue at AT&T Stadium, following a discussion triggered by the Cowboys' recent 34-6 defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles. During the game, the glaring sun streaming through the stadium's windows became a hot topic after Cowboys' star CeeDee Lamb missed a critical touchdown pass due to the blinding light.

Jones addressed the complaints stemming from Lamb and others, stating that the sun's glare should be seen as a benefit for the Cowboys. "Every venue has certain things that at certain ways and times can create an advantage," Jones remarked on Tuesday, as reported by Jon Machota of The Athletic. "That really goes under the category of home field advantage. It should be an advantage to the home team... It has been (an) advantage for us to know where the sun is. I don't want to change that."

The $1.2 billion AT&T Stadium, Jones emphasized, was designed to evoke the feeling of being outdoors. Jones dismissed suggestions about installing curtains to block out the sun during Cowboys games, even though such measures have been used for other events. "Of all the things that we need to improve, that is way down the list of improvements," Jones continued. "My biggest thought when we were building it was... make it look like it was outdoors."

Despite the persistent calls for change, Jones remains determined to maintain the stadium's current setup, aiming to leverage the natural light as a tactical advantage for the home team.
