Blackwell, who plays an important role as the fourth or fifth linebacker in the rotation, has racked up 21 tackles this season. His absence could see more playing time for freshman Ty'Anthony Smith in a lineup that also features sophomores Anthony Hill and Liona Lefau, as well as super senior David Gbenda.

Additionally, redshirt freshman edge rusher Colton Vasek remains doubtful after missing the Florida game with an injury. Vasek has made impressive contributions this season, including six tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and a quarterback hurry, making his potential absence notable.
