**Texans' Nico Collins and Jimmie Ward Suffer Injuries in Victory Over Bills**
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins sustained a hamstring injury during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, cutting short what looked to be a promising day. The injury occurred during a 67-yard touchdown reception that gave the Texans an early lead. Unfortunately, Collins was unable to return to the game following the injury.
Quarterback C.J. Stroud threw a deep pass to Collins, resulting in a touchdown and putting the Texans ahead 14-3 with 1:34 left in the first quarter. Immediately after the play, Collins limped off the field and was examined in the blue medical tent before heading to the locker room for further evaluation.
The Texans were also hit by another injury during the same game. Safety Jimmie Ward sustained a groin injury and will also miss further action following Sunday's matchup, which ended in a narrow 23-20 victory for the Texans.
At the start of this week's games, Collins was leading the NFL with 567 receiving yards. His absence will undoubtedly be a significant blow to the Texans as they move forward in the season.
